ELMORE, Ala. — Charles Edward Lacey, 59, died July 4, 2018, in Elmore, Alabama. Services were at 2 p.m. Thursday at Otts Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Stewart officiating. Burial followed at Temple Star Cemetery. Visitation was two hours prior to services at the funeral home. Otts Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Lacey was born Feb. 15, 1959, in Tuscaloosa County, to Henrietta Barnes and the late Walter Thomas Lacey. He was formerly employed in the mobile home industry and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Charles Lacey of Generals, Virgina; brothers, Hoover Lacey of Hamilton, James Lacey of Tuscaloosa and Anthony Lacey of Guin; sisters, Renee Mabins Mohammad of Selma, Dicie Lacey of Huntsville, Patricia Lacey Crump and Adrain Lacey Savage, both of Hamilton.
